The Foo Fighters released another tease from their upcoming album this week.
You can hear a 38-second snippet of the track “Miss the Misery” by clicking here and tuning the dial to 101.5 or you can click on the Soundcloud embed below.
The record, whose title has yet to be revealed, is set to be released April 12 and is being produced by Butch Vig, the same guy Dave Grohl worked with on some record you may have hear of called Nevermind. Aside from the Grohl-Vig reunion, also of note about the record is that some guy named Krist Novaselic, who was in some band you may have heard of called Nirvana, plays accordion on one of the album’s tracks.
The record will be the band’s seventh studio release and last weekend the Foos gave a sneak peak of the new record to a Los Angeles crowd during a secret show. The band has hinted that more secret shows are on their way in the coming weeks via its Twitter account.
The next scheduled Foo Fighters performance in this state is May 27 as part of the Sasquatch! Music Festival.
