Pearl Jam Twenty book gets a release date

In case you didn’t already know Pearl Jam is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year and the band has grand plans to mark the occassion.

There’s the destination festival, super deluxe album reissues, live album, a movie directed by Cameron Crowe and even a book complete with a soundtrack to accompany the film. The Pearl Jam camp has been keeping things quiet in regards to the festival, film and book but according to Amazon.com the book, simply titled Pearl Jam Twenty, will be released Sept. 13.

The 256-page hardcover  book has an intro written by Cameron Crowe and is being published by Simon & Schuster. It is described on Amazon as “an intimate and lavishly illustrated portrait of one of the world’s most influential and successful bands—by the band itself.” If you order it now the book will set you back $23.10 which is $11.90 off its retail cost of $35. There is no information about the book’s reported soundtrack is included.
