Mark Lanegan will release his latest solo record, titled Blues Funeral, Feb. 6 on 4AD Records.

The album, which is the follow-up effort to 2004’s excellent Bubblegum, was recorded by former Eleven member and QOTSA/Them Crooked Vultures collaborator Alain Johannes. Johannes and Jack Irons (formerly of Eleven and Pearl Jam) serve as Lanegan’s band on the album. Lanegan’s Gutter Twins cohort Greg Dulli and his Queens of the Stone Age pal Josh Homme also make appearances on the record.
