Caspar Babypants is Chris Ballew’s children music project. Chris Ballew is of course the singer for Presidents of the USA.
Ballew has released five records of fun, catchy kiddie tunes under the Casper Babypants moniker and “Stompy The Bear” is off his latest album, Hot Dog! The video for the song has been out for a few months now, but like most of what Caspar Babypants does, it’s just too damn cute to ignore so I am sharing it now. Chances are if you enjoy this clip of catchy cuteness then you’re going to enjoy the rest of Caspar Babypants’ catalog.
If you’re unsure of whether you’ll enjoy a record filled with a bunch of songs written for toddlers, you should show up to Capitol Hill Block Party early Sunday where you can catch a free Caspar Babypants performance at Neumos beginning at 10:30 a.m. As an added bonus there will be free ice cream and lemonade. And no, that last part is not a joke.
