Listen: Ben Gibbard’s ode to Ichiro Suziki

Ben Gibbard released a song called “Ichiro’s Theme” earlier today in response to the news that the Mariners traded Ichiro Suzuki to the New York Yankees. It’s well-known that Gibbard is a big baseball fan and he had this to say about the song:

“I wrote this a few years ago. Today seems like the best day to let you all hear it.  Thank you, Ichiro.”
