Christmas is coming early this year for Mad Season and Nirvana fans. The annual Record Store Day on Black Friday event (because, hey, Record Store Day isn’t already commercial enough) is bringing vinyl hounds a limited-edition, colored, 10-inch Mad Season single and a remastered, 20th anniversary edition of Nirvana’s Incesticide.
The Mad Season single features “River of Deceit” and a live version of “I Don’t Know Anything.” You can find out more about the single over on Record Store Day’s website.

Here are the details on the Incesticide reissue:
Recompiled and remastered from the original analog master tape and recording sources by Bernie Grundman at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios, Hollywood. This limited edition audiophile edition of Incesticide was pressed by Analogue Productions on two 180gram virgin vinyl discs and cut at 45 RPM vinyl for superior audio quality to past 33 1/3 RPM reissues. The faithful recreation of the jacket designed by Kurt Cobain includes the lyric sheet art and for the first time comes housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. Gold foiled stamped and individually numbered.
Record Store Day’s Black Friday offerings will be made available on Nov. 23 at an independent record shop near you.
