First ever Pearl Jam pop-up shop happening Dec. 2

The fine folks at Pearl Jam‘s Ten Club are hosting their third annual Rock & Art Poster Convention next month at Showbox at the Market. As advertised in the title it’s an event where poster artists will sell show posters and other pieces of art. Think of it as a mini Flatstock with the likes of Ames Bros., Frida Clements, Chuck Sperry and other awesome poster makers. I’m guessing items like this piece of badassery will be for sale.

The posters and artwork alone already make this a great event but what makes it even more attractive is the presence of  the first ever Pearl Jam pop-up shop. The shop will sell rare and limited-edition posters and Pearl Jam merchandise.

“We’ve got some rare stuff like vinyl LP box sets from Pearl Jam’s acoustic show at Benaroya Hall that were never sold and we’d love to see some hardcore fans have the opportunity to pick up some of these rare things in person,”  Tim Bierman, the manager of Ten Club, said in a news release announcing the event.

In case you’re curious, that Benaroya Hall vinyl was limited to around 2,000 pressings and currently sells for between $800 and $3,000, so to say it’s a coveted piece of Pearl Jam merch is a bit of an understatement.

Along with Pearl Jam merch and posters, there will be several artists creating paintings similar to this one and they will be for sale on site with all proceed going to charity.

The Ten Club Rock & Art Poster Show happens at Showbox at the Market on Dec. 2. Door open at 1 p.m. for Ten Club members and 1:30 p.m. for the general public. The show is free and will end at 6 p.m.
