Mayor McGinn declares today Easy Street Records Day in Seattle

Congratulations are in order for Easy Street Records because Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn proclaimed today Easy Street Records Day in Seattle. According to a press release issued by the City of Seattle, the mayor chose to recognize Easy Street Records because of “its stability, longevity, and active involvement in the Seattle music community.” Check out the official proclamation here.

The press release also states, “Easy Street Records embodies the diverse musical styles that Seattle produces, and have been recognized for breaking new bands out of the Northwest, allowing young artists to be heard by promoting, stocking, and selling local music of all genres.”
