Minus the Bear released their fifth full-length record, Infinity Overhead, last year without much fanfare which is a shame becuase it’s quite good. On the record the local math-rockers get a bit less math-y with their music which makes the record one of their best to date. I highly recommend you give it a listen.
The band recently teamed up with renowned artist Jesse LeDoux to create the animated video for “Listing,” off Infinity Overhead. LeDoux is the former art director for Sub Pop and he is perhaps best know to music fans as the creator of several iconic record covers including The Shins’ breakthrough album Chutes Too Narrow. His distinct visual style is in full effect in the “Listing” clip (watch it above).
Aside from working with LeDoux, MTB is heading out on a winter/spring tour that unfortunately won’t make its way to Seattle. They also dropped by the house of Darryl Hall (he of Hall & Oates fame) to record an episode of Live From Darryl’s House. You can watch that below.
