The Hold Steady are a well-oiled rock ‘n’ roll machine and they know what the crowd wants and when to give it to them. That was apparent during their three-night residency at Madame Lou’s and the Crocodile. And as always, celebratory confetti came out to play during “Your Little Hoodrat Friend,” which was especially great at the Crocodile because the venue had several “No glitter or confetti allowed” signs posted specifically for these shows. Here are some scenes from the confetti carnage and show that happened on the final night of the residency.
