Alice in Chains axeman Jerry Cantrell has a new solo album on the way. The record, called “I Want Blood,” follows his excellent 2022 record “Brighten.”
“Brighten” was a bit of a left turn for Cantrell in that instead of being a hard and heavy record like his previous solo material, it was more acoustic and countrified. But based off the first single for his new album it sounds like he will be returning to his darker, heavier roots with “I Want Blood.”
