The band All-American Rejects are a one-hit wonder group that hit big during the emo craze of the early aughts with the song “Swing Swing.” Harvey Danger are local boys who hit it big with their one smash single “Flagpole Sitta.”
So what happens when one one-hit wonder covers another one-hit wonder? Well, you know how when you’re at the office copy machine and you make a copy of a copy and it turns out to not be as crisp or clear as the original. That’s sort of what happens.
