Soundgarden to reunite as Nudedragons for SMooCH

The annual SMooCH concert, which is held at the Showbox as a benefit for Seattle’s Childrens Hospital, is always a good time filled with special headliners. Past performers include Macklemore, Jason Isbell, Band of Horses and Sir Mix A Lot.

This year’s event is happening Dec. 14 and will be headlined by Sebadoh, who are expected to perform their breakout album “Bakesale” in full. Also performing is indie rock elder statesman Dough Marstch and Seattle rock hero Duff McKagan. As if that wasn’t enough guitar for you, this year’s event got a whole lot louder with today’s announcement that the remaining memebers of Soundgarden will perform with powerhouse vocalist Shaina Shepherd as Nudedragons.

Of course this isn’t the first time Nudedragons has graced the stage of the Showbox. They performed the first Soundgarden reuinon show at the fabled local venue in 2010.

Tickets for SmooCH 2024 immediately sold out following today’s announcement. However, the organization is still accepting donations and since ’tis the season, if you’re feeling charitable you can still donate to the cause.
