The last time Shaina Shepherd made a big splash in the news she was fronting Nudedragons (aka Soundgarden) at the Showbox. The vocal powerhouse delivered an unforgettable performance during an unforgettable night that helped raise tons of money for Childrens Hospital.
Yesterday it was revealed that Shepherd is once again linking up with Soundgarden. Well, some of Soundgarden. She has teamed up with Matt Cameron for an EP titled “New Beginning”. The collaboration features Cameron on drums with Shepherd on vocals and it will be released on digital platforms March 14.
A vinyl release of the EP is expected later this year. So far there’s been no word on whether there will be any live shows or promotion to support the release.
